My heart is overflowing with joy at the outcome of the 10 years anniversary celebration and awards brunch. I want to sincerely thank you for boarding the #WE10Express with me as I reflected on the last decade of impactful work by Women Engaged and talked through my vision for the path ahead.

Your laughter, joy, and above all, your presence made the event truly and absolutely magical. Thank you for taking the time to celebrate with us for such a significant moment in Women Engaged’s history. Not only was the brunch a celebration of the work our organization has done over the past decade but it was also a reflection of the work being done in our community by people like you. People who care, people who invest in their communities, and people who show up to make a difference.

As we continue to push full steam ahead for 2025 on the #WE10 Express, we ask that you buckle up and get ready for the ride!  Trains, unlike cars, follow tracks and looking back at the foundation laid by Black women trailblazers, I am sure that we are headed in the right direction! Yet, we will need all hands on deck to get us where we are going.
