Cultivating Leaders
An integral part to our integrated voter engagement strategy is leadership development where we curate and provide trainings for our canvassers, volunteers and community members with the latest information in civic engagement and community organizing. We provide robust trainings outlining how the reproductive justice frame can be applied to our decisions in the ballot box and how we engage with our elected officials.
Through our leadership offerings — including issue advocacy, reproductive justice advocacy and voter engagement training — we have cultivated 2,503 leaders. We provide these individuals with the tools they need for changing hearts and minds. Many have gone on to lead across the state of Georgia and around the country in the areas of reproductive justice, campaign, policy and law.

Women Engaged provides leadership development opportunities for individuals and organizations, through our WE Lead Program, which is designed to provide training on cutting edge and emerging strategies and tactics for campaign, policy, and program development. We host these opportunities in the form of community-centered trainings, research fellowships, and internships.
